I went to the dentist for my routine checkup the other day. For the first time in my life, I got a clean bill of health. He didn't lecture me about brushing or flossing or anything! Just, very good, well done, you can go. I was so happy :D

It's been too long! And it's all my fault! I am so sorry! I'm actually in the midst of my last term as an undergraduate and preparing for exams. I just had one a few days back and it went pretty well. My next one is in 2 days D:

I've never played a MMORPG because I don't have the patience to spend so long levelling up and stuff ^^' It's like you say, if you don't spend as much time as everyone else online, you end up not being able to keep up. I prefer the online games where you just go in and play. Everyone has equally good abilities (although obviously some will have played more and be better than others, but at least it's not the game making some people stronger). There's one called Magicka that is really fun online. It's a cooperative game where the players are wizards and you combine elements to create spells. There's no levels or whatever, you just go in and play :)

So are you in the middle of your exams now as well? How are they going?

I had been worried, not having heard from you in a while but I guess dentistry has kept you busy. Truth is, the last few weeks have been a bit of a rollercoaster for me (relationship troubles), ending with a metaphorical crash a few days ago... I've been trying to cheer up with the help of my friends (bless them) and today you have helped a lot with that story :D

Street piano week sounds like the best idea EVER! I wish we had something like that here. But it rains like every 5 minutes so maybe it'd be a bit risky ^^'' And of course, asians are the best pianists ;) By the way, I am still playing piano, and I'll be trying out the piece you sent me tomorrow.

In other news, one of my buddies is going to China this summer to teach english for a charity and I'm trying to help him raise money for the charity. I'll also be joining him after his month of teaching to roam around China and see some sights. It's gonna be an epic journey! One of our fund raising events is a 60 mile cycling trip which we attempted a couple of weeks ago. Unfortunately, his bike got a flat and we were unable to repair the tire, he also managed to hurt his leg along the way so we had to cut the trip short at 30 miles. We will be finishing it off this week hopefully. If you are feeling very generous, please consider donating a dollar or two to the charity. We're trying to raise £500 to go towards the school to pay for books etc. You can donate online at Just Giving (Suraj is the name of my friend who is raising the money). That said, there have been rather a lot of bad things going on around the world these last couple of months... Japan, Libya, New Zealand... so I would definitely understand if you'd rather donate to those causes that are in serious need ^^

Well that's just about what's been happening with me. We are now in Easter vacation so I'm sitting around, studying a bit for my final exams and trying to get over a failed relationship. In that last respect, thank you for sharing that story with me, it really made me laugh!

Things are turning out much better this past couple of weeks :) Much better! I've found a violinist who wants to play duet with me hopefully for a concert next term. He's an awesome violinist so I'm going to have to practise hard to keep up but I'm finally putting my piano skills to use instead of just letting them fade away. I will look into those pieces you sent me while I'm at it. How about you? Have you been yanking people's teeth out the past week?

Ahhhhhhhh this week is so horrible! Just one thing after another! Seriously!

A couple of days ago, I went to the Chinese grocer's and bought a BBQ eel (I love BBQ eel). It was expensive as such rare things are. On the way back, unknown to me, the plastic bag split open and the eel fell out. I didn't notice the change in weight because there was also a box of cookie rolls in there so the eel was relatively light. If the big heavy cookie roll tin fell out it would have made a bang and I would have heard it. But no, it's the eel that falls out.

Next up, today I got up super early to cycle to the business school and do some work with a friend. When I get there I realise my USB stick has fallen off my key ring. ****, but ok, it could only have fallen off when I had my keys out of pocket right? So it's either there at the business school or back home. But lo and behold, it is no where to be found. It was a really small, high capacity, brand new USB stick too. And now that's gone... :( I'm going to have to spend some money to replace it. I believe all my important files on the stick are encrypted so hopefully if someone picks it up, I shouldn't have to worry about my files being stolen.

Lord, I am so depressed... :(

Awwwww that 9 year old kid is such a lucky guy!! I'll bet you really made his day! Careful though, he might now have a huge crush on you ;D

My Valentine's (singles awareness) day... most depressing of my life... But I don't want to talk about it here. Maybe I'll tell you the details about it when we next meet on MSN (or Skype? I'm so old, I don't know what is popular anymore). At the end of the day, I just hung out playing Mahjong with my good (single male) buddy. At least he helped cheer me up.

So what have you been painting then? Do I get to see your next piece of art? :) I haven't got a wallpaper to give you in return...but I've been playing a lot of piano! Can't really send that over the internet though... Do you know any really good piano songs? I'm always looking for nice sounding pieces and if you tell me about a really good one, I might record it for you :D

Indeed I have been reading Sherlock Holmes every now and then on my awesome Amazon Kindle. Been taking a break though while I get through 20,000 leagues under the sea.

Piano! Ah I love the piano so much! I haven't played it in like a year and now I've gotten back into it. Really relaxing except for the fact that the grand piano I like to play is in the college chapel which is completely unheated and it is still winter. I can't play with gloves on so my fingers get super stiff after a few minutes. But I persevere >_< That is until some guy came in and said my piano music was disturbing some lecture or something and then I had to stop... I would have thought that nice soothing piano music would go excellently with a lecture. Maybe I was putting all their students to sleep.

Nooooooooooooooooooooooo you can't grow out of anime! You only find more grown person oriented anime to watch. Totoro is a bit childish but his other films like Laputa and Nausicaa have some quite serious undertones. Speaking of Nausicaa, have you read the original manga? It is much longer with a much more deep and complex storyline. By far THE best manga I have ever read.

Yep year of the rabbit soon. Meaning we're getting closer to two full cycles since I was born! Omg I am so old... I went to this new year celebration show the other day. It was good fun but there were some acts which were like "wtf that's got nothing to do with Chinese new year!" Like a long fashion show. WAT I'll be going to another one in a few days. This one will have a lion dance apparently so at least it will be more traditional :D I hope.

What's this 13 constellations thing? I'm not very familiar with star signs and whatnot.

BTW I hope you and your family and friends haven't been affected by the floods. I heard they have hit Brisbane and Victoria but not where you are right?

Auwwww I just went to the dentist Q_Q. She said I brush ok but I drink too much tea with sugar and don't floss enough. Not only that, but my wisdom tooth is in danger of damaging another tooth and I have to return every 6 months to check it >_< Dentists never have good news!! When you become a dentist you have to be one that gives good news ok?? Like...good news! Your teeth haven't fallen out! or...good news! I didn't accidentally drill into your brain!!

I'm glad you found your dogs so fast :D I guess they must be pretty smart hounds though, waiting for their master. They deserve Christmas treats! Are you looking forward to Christmas? I really am this year :D Dunno why. After working like a dog (:3) for 6 months, a Christmas break is all the more valued. Oh I haven't told you yet....last week....I quit my job in disgust!!! No not really. My placement is finished so I just moved back home. Still got to finish my final report though...what a pain..
