What I mean is I only have 1 week of term left, then it's 6 weeks of holidays!
My college has a canteen where I can get food but to be honest, the dinners are not very good x( And I can't always schedule my days so I can eat in the canteen (they have narrow opening hours). There is a shared kitchen I can use but it is rather far away. I can't just quickly go make some toast or something. But still, I do quite like my room.

Laptop! I'm really looking forward to checking out the model I want when I go to HK. It's going to be great! Finally I won't have to click open firefox, then go make some tea, do some work until it actually opens. My laptop is so stupid slow. I think it's because of all the silly programs they install from the start and include in the recovery discs too. I hate norton!!

Ah of course. You are also ruled by the same queen as us xD By the way, do you guys have to learn your national anthem? I realised recently that I can never remember the UK national anthem except that it mentions something about god saving the queen.

Hahaha no that's HANG-gliding you're thinking of. The gliding I am trying to do it when you sit in a really thin and light aeroplane which has no engine and you use the wind and rising thermal air to keep it in the sky. It looks like it should be fun. The next best thing to flying a proper plane (but I can't afford that). But I chose the wrong time of the year to do it it seems. I'll have to wait until next spring.

So what are you planning for your super long vacation? Any traveling? Don't bum around too much ;D

I have 2 weeks to christmas holidays and vacation

I got distinctions in my 1st year, no exams in 2nd year and now in 3rd year I will have 7 papers to take which cover the 2nd and 3rd year material. Since I didn't study enough in 2nd year I will have to redo much of that stuff now to make up for it

And no I have no microwave or kitchen or anything. I have to go out if I want to cook or heat anything up.

I can't wait for the holidays! I've decided I am getting a new laptop when I visit HK this christmas! I totally deserve it! Oh I know cantonese! (well sort of) I can totally show people around. Especially for gadget shopping xD But maybe you want to see the brand name clothes in which case I might not be much help...

I've heard of people having to do national service before. I'm so glad I don't have to in the UK. Do you have to in Australia?
If I had to, I wouldn't mind being a pilot. But I wear glasses so there's no chance :(
Speaking of flying, I joined the uni gliding club and went for my first lesson today. But when we got there and had pretty much got the plane ready, it started raining hard and we had to cancel... Such a bummer...

But anyway, enough about me. Don't feel down! The exams are over! Rejoice! It is out of your hands so you may as well have a good time!

I had no one to pamper me!
I had just left home and was stuck in my student room drinking tea and eating biscuits. I was too ill to go out and we had no microwave to make soup in. It was horrible!

Ahh Christmas, I'll be spending this christmas in Hong Kong :D I'm really looking forward to it. Haven't been back there in 3 years! Aside from christmas, I think there is another special day coming up... I must prepare!

Sorry I have been deathly ill for a week. Just at the start of term. What luck... Then I got better and had to work furiously to catch up T_T
And even though I'm kind of caught up, I get so much work! Tutorials! Lectures! Projects! CVs! Job applications! I'll go mad!

To answer your question, our hotel wasn't all that great (it was actually a hotel apartment) so I only took one or two pictures. It was great for the price though!
The famous 7 star Burj Al Arab does have pretty much a wall made of aquarium :)

To answer your other questions, I would find it a little strange for romance to not include even one kiss, unless of course the romance doesn't get anywhere and perhaps that is where the comedy is :P
As for incest...That would definitely creep me out...

As for photos...The problem with a digital camera is that you take too many photos! Compound that with every other person on the trip snapping away with digital cams, SLRs, phones and whatever. I will need to find time somewhere to pick out the best ones!

The trip was a huge success!
I'm pretty sure everyone really enjoyed it and the companies thought we were worth talking to. I'm so happy and relieved that it turned out well :D
I have taken many many photos. Over a thousand! So now it's going to take a while to pick out the good ones ^^'

Holidays? I know not the meaning of the word! I haven't worked this hard in years! Remember that Oxford Emerging Markets thing I told you about? Well we are now 2 days in and I. Am. EXHAUSTED
But so far things have gone pretty darn well! I'm really enjoying it, enjoying meeting the people, enjoying seeing the companies. Brilliant people on this trip and the companies have been so great to us. And so far I am feeling really quite proud of myself for setting all this up (almost single handedly I might add!).
But touch wood and hope that it keeps going so well!
